Electric cylinders with inverted roller leads are very compact because the spindle nut is fitted with a permanent magnet. The servo motor is centrally constructed around the spindle nut. Therefore, the spindle nut is also the main rotor of the motor. This can save a lot of space, otherwise the motor must be connected in series or parallel to the shaft.
